The Ayn Rand Resurgence

I've blogged about Ayn Rand before. According to several news agencies, her works are suddenly selling very quickly and there appears to have been a resurgence of interest in her philosophy (Objectivism). For those interested:

Are you saying that it's because you blogged about it before? Just wondering.

Thanks for posting this. I've often said that Rand is the most consistent atheist philosopher. If it were true that God didn't exist, then Rand's philosophy comes closer to explaining reality than any other because it forces the law of non-contradiction to its logical conclusions and allows no compromise on it.

It is amazing how closely she did come to getting it. She reasoned her way to a philosophy entirely consistent with Christian Hedonism without being given the Christian mind to go all the way. Far better than most philosophers, yet still displaying the glorious place of God in calling men and women out of the darkness. In the end, consistent, yet incomplete philosophy, still ends in Hell.

Randy: Just to be clear, yes, that is exactly what I am saying. :)

Darby: I think your assessment is spot on. Thanks for the comment.
